Social media is playing a bigger role than ever in helping legal service consumers decide where to take their business. A recent survey from Thomson Reuters FindLaw shows that just over half of consumers believe they would be more likely to hire a lawyer with an active presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The proportion of people who prefer social media-savvy lawyers climbs even higher, to 69 per cent, when only considering those between 18 and 44 years of age.
